If you would ask "is there a country where citizens are accepted irrespective of their race or religion" then it could have been possible to single-out a few of the countries in this world of over 200 countries.

The countries I have visited or lived or worked in my 52 years of age, I did not find a single country that either officially or by their people doesn't have any discrimination against others with different race or religion.

However, I found that Singapore is one of the few countries where you would not feel 'persecuted' for your race or religion, provided that you follow their stringent Rules and Code of Conduct.

I was also a great admirer of Iranians under notorious Reza Shah Pahelvi who through rigid rule got his population to behave 'gently' towards other race or religion till February 1979. I do not know how other people of different race or religion are treated there under the Mullahs.

I would also commend Chinese government to be more or less tolerant to other race or religion, if you filter out western propaganda about their alleged human rights violations, which some of the leading western countries themselves are accused of (no offence please).
