I have and people I asked felt there was something very peculiar about this day of destruction. Everyone I talked to including myself couldn't put a finger on it but it was something there.
I know we are not exposed to such things often but still something just felt odd maybe symbolic. I donnu any thoughts?

It was a day that changed our beliefs as a nation. I do not believe it was a conspiracy. Once it happened, then it was like no one felt safe. Something that makes an entire nation stop and watch TV is a powerful event. It had everyone's attention, if only for a day.

Yes it was strange. Because it is a once in generation event. Like Pearl Harbour, but for this generation it was all caught on tape. Never in history has something so tragic and shocking taken place in real time across the globe.
So this event was not life altering for only those that were there, but many around the world.

i live 8 blocks north of the trade center. i lived through the attack. i don't know if i feel anything peculiar about it but the day it happened it was shear terror. every one was on edge. a couple of Arab grocery store were looted. it never made the news. but rest assured it happened. other than that and the trade center being destroyed i don't find anything peculiar. it was a terror attack carried out by cowards. New Yorkers are on point and they report anything out of the ordinary. trust of foreigner has diminished but that was expected after what we lived through.

Yes that it really happened. I asked my daughter that day to turn on CNN which she did. I came into the room and asked her why she turned on one of those airplanr disaster movies, not realizing what had happened.

Well, i've seen conspiracy tapes and i must say, they do a good job at making me believe it wasn't terrorist. I've decided to just put it all aside.
