I would be hurt .. Your husband is supposed to do everything to make you feel better. Call a massage therapist and get the help you need.

Do you massage his back for him when he needs it? Why don't you tell him that if he does your back you will do his. And yes, your husband should do that for you. Touch and massage is healing. I have Rheumotoid Arthritis and if it wasn't for my husband I would suffer worse than I do. I am very grateful for him,but then I do the same for him. That's how it is suppose to be. Good Luck.

No, just take notes and pay him back later! Actually, a couple of Advil (or the like) and a warm bath usually work for me. A jacuzzi is better, but a pair of strong hands in the right place works best.

If it's a recurrent ailment I'm not suprised. For some reason people close to you get used to the fact that you're in pain and stop caring after awhile. There's really nothing to do about it. Sorry.

Forget him for not being understanding and go to a massage therapist or a friend who is willing to help you out ......my hubby was the same way....If he does not want to do it then get someone who will.....And let your hubby know that such and such massaged your back for you......You tell him that he is sorry.....im sorry but he is.....

Before you get offended find out why he doesn't want to help. Don't just blow up. If all else failes a good hot bath will really help.
