With three of his friends.

A homemade cake, funny hats and lots and lots of laughter.

Don't over-do it.

He's FOUR.

Your local bowling alley. They are reasonable. They clean the mess up. The children and the adults enjoy the party. Make sure you take your video camcorder. We had our four year old birthday in NJ at the local bowling alley. I had thought he and his friends were a little to young. I was wrong it was great and for weeks after he was still wanting to have another birthday party so he could throw the ball. they have side rails and both the children and adults are having a great time. It is a great way to have a birthday party. That was 6 years ago do you know my son still has the birthday bowling pin and still remembers it. When we show the video he laughs his self silly. Josh and his friends still like to go there every year one of the children still has their birthday party their.

If you've got a nice budget, do you have a 'build a bear' nearby? or an art studio that will let the kids make something crafty?

Our public library has copies of local "Things to Do" magazines and booklets, similar to the kind of things a Park District might send. Lots of times there will be adverts for places to have a birthday party, and since it's from your library, it'll show local stuff.

Happy Birthday, 4 year old!!

My niece had her 4th birthday social gathering at a Gymboree and invited her acquaintances from daycare. this is no longer the Gymboree clothing shop, this is an section that had mats the youngsters might want to run in each and every single position on and over and interior. there replaced into an section the position each and every of the youngsters might want to sit down down at a table and devour the cake, except for the play area. that they had a blast and the moms and dads were satisfied (they had to stay the finished social gathering for criminal duty motives) because the youngsters were EXHAUSTED after playing!

Ever consider asking your son what he wants to do? Sometimes little kids will surprise you. We took my nephew skating on his third birthday and he loved it.

how about at home.
who are you trying to impress?
do you think he will even remember- like where you held his party?
as long as he has fun and there is a cake.
i talk to my 13 yr old and she has no memory of where her 4th birthday was held-just that it was fun.
the only facts she knows are what we told her later.
so back to my earlier ?-- who are you really trying to impress?
go to a park! let them have fun outside---they will have fun.
