What's a good song search engine?

Question

I need one that won't give my computer viruses or mess it up. It would be really great if there was one where you could put the lyrics in to find the song. Does anyone know of one?

try limewire, it IS the best. faster than kazaa even. as for putting the lyrics, i understand sometimes you really don't know the song but only the lyrics of the chorus or such, well, to solve that, go to yahoo or google first and then type in the lyrics, once you do the results would show you the song. when you know the title and artist already, that's the time you look for the song on your limewire pro.

as for the virus, back your computer up with some good firewall and virus detector. a spyware. then you install the limewire.

I would not use Limewire. Limewire has viruses, regardless of a virus scanner or not. To be safe, you should try iTunes. iTunes is by a trustworthy source, and lets you burn CDs, as well as rip CDs, and lets you edit the info so you can search song lyrics and copy + paste them into the lyrics section. If you are unsure how to do that, just select a song, right click it, and click "Lyrics." Then, paste in all the lyrics into the text box. The iTunes Music Store is professional, and comes with its own album art. If that's something important to you, that's two thumbs up. iTunes 7.0 also includes album art downloading even when not purchasing songs. So instead of having to scan each and every single album cover (or looking on the internet and finding small album art if you don't have a scanner), you can just select "Download Album Art," and it gives it to you... for free!

Just put the lyrics in quotes. On any search engine. It always works for me.
