Taking hostages is an effective, but psychopathic means to an end. Playing hardball is fine and dandy..when you trade guns with faulty firing mechanisms. Freedom is priceless...while security is something we all need. But in order to answer you with vigor and sincerity....I feel it is wrong to risk innocent lives for the mere purpose of making a political statement.

sounds like they took the arms off of the hostages.
