Politics is the activity of controlling a group of people or a government. Whenever 2 or more people get together, there is a political element.
How can we avoid it?

Yes, we do. We need the partisanship and the give and take of new ideas. We need the debate and argument. Without it, nothing would change or improve.

What we can do without is the hatred and lunacy, primarily displayed by those on the left.

Yes, I believe so. There needs to be structure everywhere or else we would just fall a part.

It is a democracy and thank God for our freedoms.
It gets brutal at times, but without it we have what?
A dictatorship?
