In the event of nuclear war where would you go?

If you turned on the news and saw that nuclear war had began and missles are heading for your country or city where would you go if you survived?

if missiles are heading my country or my city??? of course i'll go to the neighboring country or city... missiles are not heading there, isn't it... hehehe... just joking..

seriously, you can head into the next town, that is if it is around 50 - 100 kms from the center of the bomb explosion. another choice would be to go deep into the earth, a deep cave, etc.

First of all, no civilized country will use a nuke unless they are nuked first. It won't happen. Russia and China might be run by dictators, but they aren't lunatics. They don't want a nuclear war. Israel won't need any help, they can take care of Iran on their own. But if it was necessary to save Israel, they would and should use the bomb. But the fact is, it won't happen. The U.S. will help Israel even if it's just to prevent them from nuking Iran. When Israel and/or the U.S. attack Iran, it won't be like Iraq or Afghanistan. We won't be sending in troops and killing people left and right. We're just going to be targeting their nuclear facilities, and maybe some other important facilities, and hopefully we'll also kill those in power. I think it's better if we're the ones to attack Iran, because then all the Arabs can't blame this on Israel. Any nuclear catastrophe will be a dirty bomb used by terrorists, or one of these Arab countries if they get the bomb. The whole point of attacking Iran is to prevent nuclear war or the use of this kind of weapon.

In the event of a nuclear war only roaches can survive radiation, as has been proved during hiroshima bombing. So a roach den is the best place to hide in to save ourselves. Or else the White House could be the second best alternative, as the headquarters are never bombed.
