My fiance and I met online eactly 4 years ago Oct 21st. We talked online for 3 years when he moved here to go to college and be with me. Just wondering how common it is.

Yes my present partner and I met this way 5 years ago and we are still together.
Let me put it this way. Suppose you went to your local bar, what are the chances of a potential partner ever walking into that bar while you are there ? Probably millions to one.
By using the internet you have thousands of potential partners and can "vet" them before deciding what ones to meet. Okay they might not all be 100% perfect but it's surprising how many are 90% perfect. We are all only huiman after all!!

I met someone over 1 1/2 years ago, online, and I went to meet him and his family exactly one year ago and we are still together, long distance, I will be going to see him again in the early spring,,since I have met him I have not been with anyone else and neither has he,,,we plan on getting married in the near future

i was talking to my current bf online and on the phone for a month before we started dating. We've been together 6 months now and still long distance. i love him alot.
He seems to be very busy with work recently and i dont talk to him as much. i wonder sometimes if he's cheating.Not sure what to do since we live in different states. I can usually get a hold of him when i call him day or night but i still dont know.
