Hmmm... thought provoking question. I'm thinking the gluteous maximus.
Only because it would be fun to say "Butt Button" @ least once. :)

On the sternum maybe? That seems to be close to the center of your body the same way your belly button is. Of course we would have to call it the sternum button unless someone could come up with a fun name for sternums. It would just be weird if it was on a limb somewhere (it might throw off your balance) and we've already got enough holes in our heads for pete's sake.

Probably in the center of the chest. It has to be psoitioned in the front to get the umbilical cord access to the infant bloodstream. It enters the baby thru the bellybutton and goes into the liver. So, the belly really is the best place for it, but it could go into the chest and hit the aorta???

Considering nourishment comes in your umbilical cord (like eating), it seems like it would move up toward your mouth. Its kinda surprising that your belly button isn't located right on top of your stomach.
Actually your stomach breaks down food, its your intestines that absorb nutrients, so Its probably in the perfect place. Hmm, i wonder if lint actually gets inside my body via my belly button.

This is... a VERY dangerous question to ask, but... okay, what the hell, I'm answering. It should either be on the back of the heel of the left foot, on the inside of the right elbow, or expunged completely as humans evolve (or devolve, depending on how you look at it) and start laying eggs.
