You want to know why? For the very same reason that heterosexual men and women do. It is because they have a desire to express their affection to each other and it at times occurs when they are in public. People in general (at least some) have an affinity for PDA. Be it a homosexual person or a heterosexual person. PDA is not sexual preference specific.

Why do straight men and women express who they sleep with in public? This too is a question based on observations that's made me curious as to why.

Why do straight people express who they sleep with in public? They hold hands, grope, very vocally declare just what kind of sex they've had in the last 24 hours, and apparently attempt to swallow one anothers' head...
Honestly, I have *never* seen public displays of affection from gay and lesbian people of the caliber I've seen from straight people. Most gays and lesbians tend to be a bit more discreet, in my experience.

For the very same reasons straight people do exactly the same thing.
LOVE
Yeah, I know, it's probably a novel concept for you, but we gays and lesbians actually DO know how to love.
Why do straight people show their affection towards one another, why are love songs written, love stories published and movies made?
Why do office workers display photographs of their significant others, their families, their children? (Oh yes, gays and lesbians have children too...don't think for one second we aren't or can't be just as good, if not better, parents.)
If you can ask why you would show your affection for your partner/life mate/girlfriend/boyfriend/spouse...than you'll have your answer why we do the SAME.

In answer to your question posed as to why it APPEARS that gays and lesbians seem to express their sexual orientation more often in pubic than hetersexuals. The answer to that is that they don't. What may give heterosexuals the impression that we do is based on the simple fact that there are more gay people willing to come out of the closet and are willing to celebrate their love as hetersexuals have long done. Straight people must try and imagine what gay people have gone through for so very many years of pretending not to have a life in order not to make straight people uncomfortable. Straight people on a daily basis understandably talk about there spouses, their children and their friends. In their offices they generally have photos of their loved ones displayed lovingly on their desks. Gay people have never been allowed that luxury for fear of losing their jobs etc. Most straight people have no idea how demeaning it is and how lonely it makes many gays feel when. If and when they are asked what they did, we feel the need to edit our lives. We so very carefully edit out anything that may give their co-workders etc. the impression that they are gay. Therefore as of late our desks have been empty. The information we feel comfortable enough to express about what our social life was like on the weekend is also empty, because we more often than not leave out any mention of those that we love and share our lives with. When gays begin to not edit their lives but instead begin to talk about their social lives truthfully and openly as staights do, it will often make them uncomfortable. When we also begin displaying photos of our friends and spouses in our offices, it seems to most straight people that we are shoving our sexual preference or who we sleep with in their faces. I ask then, since the fact that straight people have been doing this for years, is it meant to express and show off who they sleep with? I would say it is likely just a lovely celebration of ones life and of those that bring thier lives richness and meaning as it is for gays that have finally developed enough courage to do the same. Editing ones life is exhausting and demeaning. We love the same way as they love. We also have rich social lives as they do but have been hiding it out of need and necessity. I ask all straight people to take a few moments and try and imagine how different and empty feeling their lives would feel if they had to edit their lives as we have basically done forever. I hope the answer I provided was satisfactory and gave the person who posed the question something important to think about. Thank you, Aaron Jason Silver www.aaronjasonsilver.com

well, I'm not sure of where you live, but, in my experience, I don't observe gay/lesbians going around expressing who they sleep with in public. I don't lie or try to hide who I am. but, what I do behind closed doors with my partner is our business.
I hear more straight people (usually young men) who like to brag about their "conquests."

Lebians reasons for hating at present men: They have been raped at a youthful age. They dated a bi woman and lost her to a at present guy. My dating is evidence of that. Lesbians might merely hate at present men merely via fact they by no skill have been given a great gamble to this point a guy at school via fact of being bullyed (like my woman's ex). some lesbians will manage at present women folk into turning lesbian and vice versa for men. And if direction being threatened by way of fellows.

Bill Clinton admitted to receiving blow jobs from Monica Lewinsky. I believe he is a married HETEROSEXUAL man.
I am a gay man. I behave with discretion in relation to my private sexual interludes. The same can not be said for Madonna (straight) Pamela Anderson (straight) Tommy Lee (straight) Charlie Sheen (straight) Jack Nicholsen (straight) Roman Polanski(straight) and Hugh Hefner (straight).

Have you been observing this behavior in movies or on tv?
I don't really think there is an overabundance of les/gays doing that, at least no more than hetero's.
Try to have a little less focus on the type of people whom it seems that you dislike, and you prolly won't notice that any more.

becuase , they feel its not a crime , doesn't matters with whom they sleep with society should accept them ,the way they are why the discrimination is there ,no body has copyright to specify the general thought that a man & woman only can share the bed ,its a personal matter where i don't find there is any crime ,if these people are a good human then i dont think their sexual interests should be the criteria to cut hem of from society, why don't we people take it as a matter of personal choice as simple as it what says
