Two real romantics are:
"Sunshine" (1973)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070751/
"Love Story" was a film of 1970, so is quite old today.
It is where the tag-line: "Love means never having to say you're sorry" came from.
Have a look:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0066011/
Both are extremely romantic and sad, but I doubt if you'd find them now.
For something more contemporary how about, "Serendipity" with John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale?

THE NOTEBOOK!!! It is the best love story I have ever seen! It
has a very good story line. And is very believable. Watch with someone you really love. It will make both of you stop and think about how much you love each other. And if your single it will make you long for that special someone. It is excellent. Enjoy!!!
