No, I don't. They have a right to their opinion the same as you and me. The only difference is that they're famous so we hear about it. I think a lot of them really do make an effort to use their fame to make the world a better place and I've got no problem with that from anyone. I've never watched a movie where the actor broke in to tell me his/her political opinion, you have?

Actors who are citizens of the US have the same rights as the rest of us. They might have a bigger soapbox but I don't believe it's in any way right to expect them not to speak out if they have an opinion. There are already far too many regular folks who can't be bothered to rub two brain cells together where the governance of this nation is concerned. As I see it, these actors are doing us a favor even if they annoy you. For a mere moment perhaps, you have some semblance of an opinion!!!
Their job is to entertain and to make us think.

That's what I always said about Ronald Reagan and Arnold Schwarzenegger!

As far as movies with political opinions, you don't have to go if you don't want politics - I sure don't see that many movies with any kind of political agenda, at least the popular ones. Are you saying that Texas Chainsaw Massacre is actually a parallel to the Iraq situation?

I think more people should be involved in Politics. One of the single biggest problems with this country is apathy. So few vote, and even fewer really understand any of the issues they simply vote party line.

The more people involved in the political process the better.

I decide actors and actresses on their skills. i do no longer continually believe their political stands, yet i'm no longer inspired with the help of something different than what they do with their expert skills. the comparable holds authentic for singers, comedians, and so on. although, they have the comparable rights that we do. They genuinely are loose to voice their opinons and proportion their political ideals with others. the subject is that many absolutely everyone seems to be inspired with the help of them via fact of popularity. the comparable is authentic of athletes. If a in demand athlete helps a politician... it specifically circumstances potential lots! once you get top right down to it, maximum absolutely everyone seems to be inspired lots to lots with the help of others instead of turning out to be up our very own minds. i do no longer help lots of the perspectives of Tom Cruise and Jane Fonda. yet they're 2 of my favorites while it includes their movie roles. all of us could desire to make our very own judgements. Your question is an exceptionally solid one.

Ok, then soon after we can forbid women to speak about politics. Then we can get the women in Congress back in the kitchen where they belong. Think about it. Is this what you want? It's what your asking for.

I don't mind them voicing their opinions- if I had their fame I would probably do the same thing. They are no more annoying than the likes of the Limbaughs and the Coulters of the world.

I don't hold their opinions higher than anyone else just because they are celebrities however
