You do not require AntiVirus seperately as it already embedded in the Norton Internet Security. It is a combination of all the features required to protect your computer such as Personal Firewall, Intrusion Detection and AntiVirus. Please make sure that you download all the updates for your internet security especially Virus Definitions to protect your computer from new viruses. This is the best product available in market. You can view the complete feature from the following link (NIS 2006 features):

I easily have Norton internet protection bundled with my BT Yahoo broadband kit, and that i even have the unfastened A-squared anti-virus programme (even had AVG till at the instant). i've got had no issues updating and working the two programme, although i does no longer run the two on the comparable time - slows pc all the way down to a pass slowly on a similar time as scanning. So attempt it and notice. Or, fairly than uninstalling, disable Norton on a similar time as attempting Avast. make certain you positioned a fix factor formerly you do any modifications. As My Brainhurt has warned: sparkling out any quarantined nasties first.

You could have had WAY better protection for free. Norton / Symantec products suck, in general. But oh well, too late now I guess.

It is included, but make sure you remove any old anti virus software first prior to installing the new package, as it can cause problems.
