If there are 3 stairs to climb a floor n 16 more to climb means there are 19 steps in 1 floor.out of 19 you have cleared 16. So, you have to clear 3+19=22 steps to clear the two floors.

Hand off your child to your husband and take each step slowly. A couple flight of stairs once is harmless. There really isn't much to tell you other than don't climb quickly and if you feel your incision burning, stop for a minute and rest till you feel comfortable again. Good luck and remember to take it slow for the next few weeks! Oh I guess one thing to add would to be take an ibuprofen at least 30 minutes before you get home. That will help with any swelling or discomfort from the stair climbing
