No I do not think I would be on my knees. But as an individual I would show respect to a matronly lady as is expected in a cultured society. Manners ought to be impeccable.

It is time when as a society that is now a global village, social divide if at all ought to be where there is a distinct difference in intellectual competence.

Stephen Hawkins with all his physical dis-functions is the apple of the eye of the world's intellectual community.

I want things to stay just at that.

That is not the correct etiquette.
For men this is a neck bow (from the head only) whilst women do a small curtsy. the correct formal address is 'Your Majesty' and subsequently 'Ma'am'

If you are joking- Then i would say, i will not be on my knees for any queen

I've met plenty of Queens and I never say "your majesty" these guys. That would just be too over the top.

Don't know that I would recognize the Queen if I ran into her in the grocery store (buying mangos which I hear are her favorite) or on the street. No recognition, no acknowledgment of any sort, sorry.

I did go close to her and kiss her on the chick and say, may God give me long life like he has given you, and respect her just like a mother. But I will not talk about her son Charles because what I will say might be infuriating.

I would never bow to anyone no matter who they are.
We are all sentient beings.
I would say hello out of manners and ask her how are things!
I would speak to her like I would speak to anyone.
