That is a good question. I think he will improve a little more, especially in the mental and attitude department; but I look for the partnership to be short lived. Remember Jimmie, though an effective server, does not own miles per hour that much higher than Bobby Riggs. Roddick's whole game is built around the "bullet" - and one needs to leave with "the one that brung them to the dance". I do not think Jimmie is very fond of Tiger showing up to cheer on Roger - this is against the separation of tennis and golf - - - lol!

He already had the best coach and instructor of all, also the most smart tennis player BRAD GILBERT. He improve but not what it was supposed to. Connors was a great player but I have my doubts about coaching a hitter like Rodrick also he has to control himself, it is a work of two or more not only of Jimmy Connors. You can have teh best coach but if do not want o can not follow his inastructions everything is worthless

He already has improved. The way he is moving on the court is improved , not his speed , but when to follow the ball in. He is hitting his backhand earlier on his returns and not standing as far back on the returns as he was . Conner's always played with confidence and he is getting Roddick to do the same. I think it is a great team.

I admit that he has improved a great deal since partnering Jimmy Connors as coach but I am greatly disappointed with his performance at Vienna and Madrid losing to Fernando Gonzalez and Tomas Berdych respectively.

With brain transplant, yes ! Roddick is at the top of his glory, due to his serve, but sooner or later he will drop & no connor or God could help him. Take his serve away & he will be beaten with double dounats !

Hes terribly eratic....its all upto him....coach doesnt help though i think connors is brilliant...its all upto riddick to improve...he made it into the finals noy only because of his professional coach but with his own mental strength.
