Neel,
It is very nice to know that you want to excel in both the exams. From my experience I can tell you that there is no short cut to do exceptionally well. I do not know how much time you have left to prepare. but you need to know your cbse 2008 very well to excel in iit. preparing for IIT is preparing for super speed cbse race. you will have to devote 14hrs of your time to study. make a balance of 60% for cbse and 40% for IIT.
Brilliant has a good value. But if there is a local tutorial which has given good results then it is preferrable that you attend the classes in person for a good guidance and distance tutorial like brilliant can give you practise.

For IIT the mantra is practise practise and practise
Good Luck
