How can I remove fiberglass from a skylight without arming the glass pane?

Epoxy solvents.

If the pane is glass , you haven't got a problem.
If the skylight is acrylate or metacylate , you got a problem.

Can you give it knock and tell the difference from how it sounds like ?

Try acetone
