and the sims pets can i play both of them together? i mean have all the items and stuff in the sims livin large as well as all the items and pets from the sims pets or do i have to play them separatly?

The Sims Pets is an expansion pack for The Sims 2, it's The Sims Unleashed that I think you are talking about because The Sims Livin' Large is an expansion pack for the original Sims.
You can add as many EPs as you want to either of the two, that is The Sims and The Sims 2. You keep all the same items no matter how many EPs, you just have to put the disk of the last one installed to play any of the games.

You need the sims 2 - Livin Large is the expansion pack for sims 1. So, it won't work. You'll need the core sims 2 game to play it.

I suggest buying Sims 2 and some EPs and SPs they are way more funn.... otherwise you should go to google and see maybe xmsims could help? Anyyways happy simming good luck !

You have to play the two games separately, they both are rendered with different graphics etc.. I'm pretty sure you can't mix them. Sims 1 stays in one folder and Sims 2 in onother.

you can play them together... when you load the game you use the most recent cd-rom... which i think is pets
