What happend to Tidus at the end of FFX?

I heard he disappeared from spira after they defeated sin..but then he appeared in the middle of an ocean?

Indeed, Tidus was a dream of the Fayth, like Sin. So when Sin was killed, Tidus ceased to exist. The end with him in the ocean is from FFX-2. Play it and make you get the good ending, you don't have to have the perfect ending, but the good one is where you will see him again.

no he realized that he was dead and just a dream he doesnt come back but play ffx2 it helps with the pain
