Maybe. If so, then it's a damn good way to die.

Yes but it is only killing us because for some ppl this is their only meal source. They eat fast food daily sometimes twice a day eating this crap and not getting enough of the good stuff. Fruits and veggies just poorly over processed calorie laden food. Most of the time they are doing it from their cars not even getting the exercise to walk inside. It's like and addition a sick disease.

BUT on the same side I admit a trip every once in a while through a fast food place is OK. Sometimes it is necessary ...who doesn't love a burger and fries? But it should be a special occasion type occurrence not daily if people ate fast food in moderation it would be okay. But the convience, the price (it's pretty cheap) makes it just a daily addiction for some people that it is killing them eating all this heavily calorie ladden food.

Are you stating that people are incapable of making their own choices for what they put in their mouths?

Unless you're being tied down and force fed by Ronald himself, I don't see how you can blame a whole industry. Until you're capable of tuning out media propaganda (which is what commercials are) I'd suggest you turn off the TV.

I don't mean to be rude or sound harsh, but it really bothers me when people blame everyone else for their own choices.

I do agree that fast food is incredibly bad for you, especially if it's consumed on a regular basis. However, like everything else in life, you have to make the right choices for yourself.

Kids like fast food because it's what they know - that's the parents fault. The best way to get the fast food industries attention is to stop buying their product.

You can eat fatty foods and junk food at home too and that isn't good for you. Everything is killing us. Not just fast foods. A great example is the air that we breath. It is polluted.

You can't blame fast food. We make our own choices in life. WE choose to eat fast food, we choose to smoke, we choose to drink alcohol, and so on....

Remember that saying, "Too much of a good thing can kill you."

Most importantly we need to take responsibility for ourselves.

Absolutely. At no time in history have so many people died. Oh, that's because there weren't that many people before. Since the beginning of time young people have died and old people died in their sleep, fast food can't be blamed.

i think of the quickly nutrition industry is super . They valuable make adequate money, so all of us might desire to be helping them. i do no longer think of a quickly nutrition eating place is any worse than a everyday eating place. you are able to look at a menu at any eating place and see nutrition options that are undesirable for you. So McDonald's french fries are worse for then you definitely the french fries you get at Perkins or Applebees? i do no longer think of so. all of it comes right down to our own options. whilst i pass out to consume i attempt to go with something healthful, no rely what the quickly nutrition chain or eating place. there is usually a healthful selection. that's our own accountability to make the healthful selection.

With us as willing accomplices perhaps. If we choose ro eat fasr foods we will not eat as healthy a diet as we might with food we prepare ourselves with attention to good choices. It is neither difficult nor expensive but it does require you spend more time at home in the kitchen. And bring your own food to work/school.

no we're killing ourselves. you can't blame fast food any more than the gun industry, the alcohol producers, the tobacco companies, or a million other things. we need to take personal responsibility for all the harm we do to ourselves.

nowadays fast food joints are offering much healthier options. All of them offer salads of some sort, most are offering fruits, yogurts and low fat food options. Those that are having health problems because of fast food are digging their own graves by not choosing healthier eats. As for children, shame on the parents that don't choose healthier options for their kids. Wendy's offers lunch meat sandwiches, McDonald's offers apples instead of fries and milk or juice instead of soda.
