Are you, or someone you love, addicted to prescription drugs? Do you feel that Dr.'s are prescribing narcotics to people who don't really need them?

How do we handle a war on drugs when these drugs are legal?

I agree with you. My mother -in - law's boyfriend and her were recently addicted to cocaine. They stopped using thank goodness. But then he began complaining of a knee injury he has several years ago. He got vicodin and oxycodone. I noticed that he was abusing them. He kept asking for more before he should have been 150 pills for 30 days and requested them before the 30 days were up. I think people like him ruine it for people who really need to have them. It is too easy for people to obtain these narcotics and half of them are lying when they go to the dr. and just sell the pills. As far as handling it, i recommend not giving it to addicts ro recovering addicts. Monitor how these pills are being distibuted. I think it is too easy for people to obtain them thats for sure.

Yes, I agree with you,, I have several friends that depend on prescription medicine,, but until they realize there is a problem, I can't help them. One takes a pill to get up'/ go to sleep, and cope with each day. What kind of life is this?

NO. NO. YES.
Mostly pills are bad, don't do crank, and take all medical recommendations with a grain of salt.

PS: War never REALLY solves anything.
