Please tell your husband that you should be the one to decide the destination!! okay.

just joking there. sorry. if you got mad.

Most tropical spot in florida is the Central Florida that I think is the general perception, but real Tropical Florida is the fairely small land the "Key West". Sorry I am not from around here, so please give all those hard-working guys above the 10 points. I enjoyed learning about America through these sites.

Definitely, it is Key West.
The "key" question would be, "What time of year do you plan to go?"

Right now, Florida is officially still in the Hurricane Season (which is from June through November). With the cooling off of the waters of the Caribbean, in October and November, the likelihood of experiencing a hurricane is decreasing dramatically.

If it were me, I would prefer the Mexican Riviera

Key West has a "sleepy hollow" (slow-paced, almost "retro") feel, to it.
BUT, maybe that is just what you are looking for!!

Any beaches along the Florida coast are great but probably the most tropical would be Key West

Well to answer your question I watched the travel channel top 10 beaches in Florida and the number 1 was siesta key beach, FL. The sands they say feels like baby powder imagine that on your feet. Hope you like my recommendation.
I want to go there so bad to that place.

If you have never been to Forida. Try Key West. Beautiful Sunrise on Atlantic side in am, and Sunset on Gulf side in pm. Marathon down to Mile marker 1 is the best area.

2 seashores in Florida have continually received rave comments because the perfect seashores in Florida. they are fort de Soto (Nr Saint Petersburg coastline) and Caladesi Island (nr Clearwater coastline). both no longer very touristy and massive for doing no longer something.
