Since the republicans have had majority rule that is? Is it also true that since republicans have had the majority rule that it is now legal for factories and other buisinesses that stay here in America to hire illegal immigrants as long as they pay them minimum wage? Well should Americans have to be willing to accept factory jobs for minimum wage just because illegals will? I'm voting straight democrat next election, how about you?

... well... I agree totally...

and while Clinton did sign the bill (one of my biggest gripes with him actually) dems didn't pass the legislation... in fact, the majority of those against the bill were democrat...

and Bush clearly supports NAFTA and passed CAFTA...along with free trade with China...

apparently Republicans think that you should just be glad that anyone can get any job... it's funny how they hate other Amercians so much isn't it?

Is it true that it is actually now cheaper for major American co. to build factories in other countries? Wages are detemined supply and demand, and if were illegals in America if they paid 6.00 an . Companies would pay to workers without illegals 6.60 an hour. The wage difference is really about 10%, and its better to have illegals in certian industries at times paying property taxes to local goverment than offshoring in Asia. Its nasty catch 22 tax policy, and be nice to deny medical services to illegals, and have a sane immigration policy that allow people to acutally get a visa to work. Not gonna stop the migration northward from Mexico ever since the ink dried on the NAFTA trade treaty.

This is way more than A question. Thanks for the points.
BTW, a minimum wage job is better than no job. If you have no skills and the job pays minimum, take it or give it to someone who will. An American who chooses an unemployment check over a job isn't doing much more for our economy that the traitor owned factories that are moving off coast.

ok..your question is not easily understood...yes..the majority of our major factory / clothing /electronics/ all big business including all ..almost all in credit ..have now taken their stuff overseas...that is why when you call for a problem...we cannot even understand what they say..they work for less wages..but think about,,big companies pay them less than what they would pay an american..but they are making a very good income where their at...because...their expences are alot lower..a company in america can and should not heir illegals,,,it would be great if ,americans could work for under 5 and afford to have ANYTHING..I AM GOING INDEPENDENT...THE demos and repubs have had office ...forever...go independent..go for the people ..not politcs....

It might be cheaper for them to build in other countries, but why would they. There is no better place in the world for a corporation than right here in the land of King George.

it has always been cheaper ,it is now more viable than ever because the subsequent labor is also cheaper
even though this cheap labor is now coming to the mountain
in countries like the Netherlands the big companies are moving the mountain to neighbouring cheaper countries

Actually, you can thank Bill Clinton (NAFTA) for starting that trend.

You should do some research (and thinking) before posting questions.
