Stress can affect your period.
You can get it 2x a month or more.
Wait and see. If it happens again next month or new symptoms occur, see a GYN.

How heavy or light is your period normally? Having two periods in one month is not uncommon. However you may want to see a gynecologist just to check yourself out. Stress can cause a woman to have two periods in a months time, but barring that you are so young, your best bet is to see a gynecologist for this problem just in case everything inside of you is okay.
Good luck and I hope I was some what helpful.

It is perfectly normal at your age for your periods to be irregular. Continue to chart them on a calendar... the day you start and how many days your period last. Also note what days your period is heavy and when it is lighter. This will help you see patterns with your cycle and will give you something to show a doctor if your periods continue to come too often.

Have you been extremely upset or stressed? I ask, because when you are in this state you can have 2 periods a month. If you worked out hard last month and less this month you could be catching up too. =o) Most likely it has to do with stress as long as you are not sexually active.

Are you on the pill. Sometimes there is break through bleeding. I wouldn't be too worried about it but it is something to consult your gynecologist about. Are you a virgin? Perhaps you broke your hymen. Either way, no concern is needed at this point, unless there is extreme cramping or dizziness. Talk to your mother and let her know what is going on too. I hoe all goes well for you,

EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE OUR BODIES CHANGE CYCLES. NO BIG DEAL. THE PILL CAN HELP REGULATE YOUR PERIODS. OR THERE IS A BIRTH CONTROL SHOT OUT THERE THAT U GET EVERY THREE MONTHS THAT WILL ALLOW U TO MISS YOUR PERIOD ALTOGETHER. ASK YOUR LOCAL HEALTH UNIT OR YOUR FAMILY DR.

Are you on birth control pills? Breakout bleeding can happen when you first get on the pill (ring, patch, whatever), but it might be something more serious. I'd head to your doctor and have that checked out ASAP.

It does happen from time to time but as no 2 women are alike, you might want to discuss it with a doctor if it happens again.

How far apart were your two periods? If they were closer than 21 days, please see your doctor.
