Urban released a statement Friday that said he entered rehab Thursday night with his wife by his side. His publicist would not give the location of the rehab center.
"I deeply regret the hurt this has caused Nicole and the ones that love and support me," Urban said in the statement.
Urban, who turns 39 on Oct. 26, has publicly acknowledged a former addiction to cocaine, but his publicist said Urban was currently being treated for alcohol abuse.
"One can never let one's guard down on recovery, and I'm afraid that I have," the statement reads. "With the strength and unwavering support I am blessed to have from my wife, family and friends, I am determined and resolved to a positive outcome."

Yes....for Alcochol and drug abuse....Hopefully he's at the street to restoration. He is presently journeying once more with Nicole to observe that he doesnt fall off the wagon and return into the ones abuses..

He was drinking too much, again. It seems that he might have been uneasy about his marriage to Nicole Kidman as he reported in several magazines that he had many second thoughts about settling down with her.

I read that he has been in rehab before, for a drug addiction problem, so I would assume that is why. Sad really :~(

I read that he checked in because he had an addiction to something. He isnt saying what though. I was shocked when I read it. I know he used to have an addiction to cocaine.

Because he's a substance abusing loser. Had everything going his way and had to risk throwing it away due to substance abuse. Luckily, well maybe, he's seeing the light and doing something about it.
