Since the discovery of ethnic cleansing of Jews in German consintration camps during WWII there has been an extreme disliking to genicide. Yet in our modern world it continues to happen. In the Darfur region of Sudan, thousands have lost their lives, and the rest of the world stands by as the Janjaweed tribes are being ethnically cleansed by the Massaleit. Why do you believe that there has not been a military intervention to stop the genecide?

Ethnic cleansing has been with us since there have been tribes. When ancients went to war with other tribes those who were not enslaved were exterminated to prevent retaliation. Women and children were included lest the women rear a new generation of enemies to attack you when you were older and weakened by age.
What, pray tell, makes you think that world opinion on the subject has changed? Resolutions for military intervention were introduced and approved at the UN, and the requisite troops have still not been assembled by member nations. Are you willing to commit your militia to the task, knowing that it will be almost impossible to distinguish friend from foe? Do you even have a militia to commit? Or is it "Let someone else do it." as the UN has decided?

Liberals block intervention in every westernized country and have since before world war 2. Nazi germany, stalinist russia, china, north korea, vietnam, cuba etc. etc. etc. continuing today with the nonstop assault on Iraq (the POINT is to cause a genocide by withdrawing our troops).
The big weakness of democracry is that it forces government to match the character of the people. If enough people are evil, that gets woven into policy. The worst was when the Nazis were actually voted into power by the german liberals (who knew full well they were all about genocide). There are enough liberals to prevent dealing with these issues in an effective manner. It actually is an extreme threat to democracy itself. As long as that death is outside our own country, people can ignore what is going on. But when the first nuclear bomb goes off in a western country, that will be the death nell of democracy. People will look around and see that it was caused by the liberals and that they, emboldened by success (their real objective is to bring mass death to our country and kill you and your loved ones) will really ramp up what they are doing. There will be civil war over it and eventually the liberals will all be rounded up and executed because there really isn't any choice in the matter. All western governments will put severe limits on democracy. You will not have the freedom anymore to act anyway you damn well please or to advocate evil and criticize what is in your own country's best interests. That will get you a one way ticket to a necktie party.
God, I hope I don't see that happen in my lifetime.

Because the UN can't get it together on anything. And the US has other things on its mind that are more important to its own security now.
