Stay away from raw food like sushi, caffeine isnt very good for baby it can cause him/her to develop diabetes. Dont drink coffee or of course alcohol. Try eating greens like peas and drink lots of milk and water. Do not eat raw eggs or any cake or cookie batter that has egg in it and hasnt been cooked. Check out this website. It has some good tips and information on it. Its what i used when i had my first baby. You can also try gettin up in the middle of the night and grabbing a bowl of cereal which might help your morning sickness. Ask your doctor about the drug called Zofran. It helped my nausea a great deal. Congradualtions on the new addition to your family! And good luck.
P.S. when you go into labor get an epidural. itll save your life. lol

you can eat anything you want especially the things you crave as long as they are food items when you start craving non food items that is when you should be conserned. for morning sickness try to get up slowly, dont rush yourself. keep some saltines next to your bed and eat a few before you get up, the reason you feel sick is because there is nothing in your stomach for the acids to hold on to. also morning sicknes is just a part of being pregnant it will go away in the second trimester.

I've included a few links that indicate what foods you should avoid and what you can do for morning sickness.
If the morning sickness gets so bad that you are losing weight, ask your doctor about Zofran. It is an anti-nausea drug that is safe during pregnancy. That stuff worked miracles for me!

Try to keep your stomach full. I know the thougth of eatng is probably making you even more sick, but it will help a little. Fruit always worked for me during morning sickness phase. You don't need to really avoid anything.Im sure you wouldnt be interested in eating raw meat,so you have nothing to worry about. Try some saltines for your tummy, and try to eat it before you get up from your bed,

Crackers always worked in the morning.
As for food. Eat what you would normally eat (if you are a healthy eater). Eat foods that you know are good for you. And don't feel like you have to eat huge portions. Just eat normally and the baby will do the growing. And drink lots of water....I don't think that any of us drink enough water.
Good luck.

Anything with Ginger in it help nausea. I tried those preggie pops last time. They helped. Also, eat small very frequent meals. Keep your tummy full with something, and sip some ginger ale. If you are vomiting so much you can't keep much down, the doctor may give you Zofran. But that's if it's really bad.
Hope you feel better soon!

stay away from hot dogs and any cold lunch meats...also fish needs to be limited to a certain amount a week due to mercury content also make sure you avoid anything that could cause food poisoning like mayo dishes that haven't been refridgerated...check with your doctor he can tell you more or your local county human services department ... with my last pregnancy i had all day sickness and my doc told me half of a unisom and a quarter to a half of a vitamin b6...it works!!! ask your doctor before trying it though...good luck
