who else is ashamed by our country? If you aren't open you eyes to the world and ask yourself Why everyone dislikes us. Ignorance is bliss but it sure isn't helping us. God help America

it's not just that zak... have you ever lived abroad... other countries also just hate us b/c we have an attitude problem.... I'm American, I just dont appreciate they way the average American carries himself. AND our foreign policy sucks ***

I tend to be amused by the fact that everyone hates the US unless they need to remove a dictator from their own soil.
Although, I agree. I think we should leave the world alone.

Oh wait! There are places that we do not get involved in.
Sudan, Congo, Rwanda. Great, peaceful places I hear.

More patents come out of the US every year than the reat of the world combined.
Students from around the world apply in mass to study at our universities.

Am I ashamed? NOT A CHANCE. If it were not for us, dictators would overrun this planet. Even our poor citizens have higher standard of living than middle class citizens in many developed nations.

And that is exactly why so many people hate us. It is human nature to hate those who have more than you and are more successful than you. It is why anti-Semitism is so prevalent on this planet. I don't know any unsuccessful Jewish people and lots of people hate them. Iraq is just the popular excuse the rest of the world can collectively get behind.

IS this like the other week I was in London and they were having a protest against the Iraq war. The BBC stated the British people protest the war in Iraq, PM. Tony Blair and George W Bush. I was caught at the light where the protest was at. I saw signs that read Tony Blair genicide and George W Bush Murder. 100,000 Iraqies dead. The only english people I observerd were the police. The protesters could hardly speak english of any sort. I actually got out and ask about 4 or 5 of the protesters why they were against the war. They did not speak english. Across from the protesters the NIC were argueing that instead of spending two pounds and 50 pences for medicine ( because of the cost to the healthcare system) they should not dispense the medicine until people where is stage 2 and 3 of alzihimers when it does not work as well as it does if you place people on it in stage 1. Should the american press state that the British people do not care about it's own and would prefer to buy shoes and cell phones for their illegal aliens. LET ME TELL YOU WHAT MY grandparents advised me believe nothing of what you hear and only half of what you see.

The bottom line is that no country whether it is England, Scotland, Ireland,France, Russia, or Americia should have to ask permission from the rest of the world if they can protect theirselves. I am proud to be Americian,Scottish and English. I make no apologies for it. I feel that the people who dislike our country the most is the middle eastern desent. If they do not like it go back to their country and fight their own battles. The BBC did not happen to mention that some of those dealths were there when we got there from what they call shoot and drops YOU KNOW WHERE SUDDAM KILLED WHOM EVER HE WANTED for no reason did they. I ask you this how many years, deadlines and how many more sanctions should we have placed. Lets face the truth to place sanctions is like changing clothes.The countries do not obey the by laws of the U. N. that they want to be a part of I will say one more thing. PM Tony Blair and President George W. Bush have been the only leaders that have been smeared because they did their Jobs. I believe if you read and listen to the international broadcast even today Isreal and other countries do not ask permission before they strike. To be an americian or a british citizen is great because we do have the right to ask and to disagree with our leaders to questions them. Well be advised the reason we can do this is because of the freedoms in our two countries. They may not be perfect but they are the best countries in the world. RIGHT WRONG OR OTHERWISE

Vote your way out of the mess you are in.One of the biggest problems you have is asking God to help you.There is no such thing as God and if there was why would he help such a selfish,spitful group of people. Its time you began to help yourselves. You need to believe in your leader and be supportive of him. No one said anything to defend our President when Hugo Chavez attacking him.

There is so much freedom in this country. People can say anything to the authorities and get away with it. If you live in a third world country, you will be punished for being disrespectful to your leader. If you have no respect for your leader, don’t expect anyone else to respect and look up to him – and he represents America.

Freedom comes with a big price – and that's our soldiers’ lives. We are Americans; we need to stick together. Don’t wait until something like September 11 to be rallied up for America and be united.

I’m proud of this country. Not many countries send their own soldiers to protect the helpless – and those people are vulnerable without our troops.
