On tv, in society, in break room conversation. etc why is it this way ?

I think it's because people (mostly men) grow up believing that having more than one partner at any given time is good and acceptable. It also gives men bragging rights to their friends in turn they see them as someone to admire. In our society it is believed that you aren't a man unless you have ****** or ****** over alot of women.

Cool is in the eye of the beholder. Just because some media says it's cool to do something, you don't have to be a lemming and follow. TV is trying to make it cool to be gay. Screw that, gay is just gay and I will never find it cool. Be yourself and try to have your own thoughts.

Because some writer, worker, or other "cheater" is trying to justify their lifestyle and make it funny, sweet, and okay... it isn't. No matter how you write it for TV or tell the story in the breakroom.

That's just the world in which we live, I am afraid...One without morals and restraints. Those with morals seem to be in the minority...Either that or we lack the courage to stand up for what is right and do something about it......

agree with the first comment, if there is no true religion practice than cheating occurs. yet people think its barbaric that some people have multiple wives, but the man treats them all equilly, and then one man has one wife but can't be faithful to her.

i used to think of it not as ''cool'' but ''okay'' until i saw how it tore apart someone i cared for. reality sets in, it's not at all ''cool'' or by any stretch ''okay'' i've sworn to never do it again, on any level.
