If your live in boyfriend has another apartment, is he really your "live in" boyfriend or a frequent "sleep over" boyfriend? A relationship where two people live together is step up from dating. " Live ins have to always find a work out problems, there is no walking out the door and sleeping somewhere else.
So maybe the problem isn't that he has "another" apartment, maybe it's that you share seperate views on what the relationship actually is.

That is a RED FLAG! Do not ignore this. I don't know if he's moving out, but he certainly is not feeling the "long term" vibe if he feels the need to maintain a safety net like this.
