According to a study by Johns Hopkins University and Iraq’s Al-Mustansiriyah University researchers Which was published in The Lancet medical journal two weeks ago that the war in Iraq has caused between 420,000 and 790,000 Iraqi deaths & more than 2800 American military deaths.
It’s a staggering number.
This report is more evidence of the daily tragedy in Iraq. Each life lost carries with it lost hopes, loves, and dreams. Each life lost is another reason that the war in Iraq must end.
Till now, Bush & his administration , wanting to keep a positive spin on Iraq news coverage,
but whether 40,000, 100,000 or 500,000 people have died in Iraq, this war has cost too many human lives. The only resposibility for these lost innocent human lives are belong to Bush & his administration. I am asking all the honest people around the globe to give equitable answer by one word YES if they agree or NO if they disagree about that.

The false intelligence is to blame. We went in there and were wrong. No one is to blame for being protective of this country.

This question is not so simple as it can be boiled down to a yes or no answer.
Iraq is a country filled with turmoil and hatred. Its own citizens are turning against one another because of different religious factions. Muslims from other countries are entering there and causing terrorist action to prevent democratic progress. It is a hornet's nest of activity.
People forget that even before the war began mass genocide was happening under the regime of Saddam Hussein. Tragedy, oppression and death are not new things to Iraq and did not start with President Bush or the American people.

Yes, it's down to Bush and his accomplices . Historically Saddam Hussein was always supported by the West until he invaded Kuwait in 1990 and even after that war Bush senior and his allies kept Saddam in power as they were frightened of him being replaced by an islamic republic as in Iran. The lives of the Iraqi people have always been considered worthless by both Saddam and the USA.

Saddam was a twisted individual who rec'd backing from the US & UK in his war against Iran. They supplied him with WMD in the form of Poison gas & chemicals to be used against the Iranians (Wonder why Iran hates the west so much) contrary to the Geneva Conventions. Saddam, was having problems with the Kurdish population so decided to use some of the gas on the Kurds. The US gave him a severe tsk, tsk, so he used them on Iran. Now that the US decided to invade, this hideous act is being brought out. All I'm saying is the US does seem to back some sickos that they have to back away from eventually. The Shah of Iran, Noreiaga of Panama, Pinochet of Chile, Suharto of Indonesia, The Contras of Nicaragua, Batista of Cuba and many more costing thousands of innocent lives.

Your request for a one-word answer is unreasonable given your cited question.
But in one word, no.
No, President Bush is not solely responsible. Saddam Hussein brought this tragic war to his country. He was not only snubbing the UN for over a decade, he was committing geonocide on the Kurds. Does this report take into account how many secular killings have occurred?

The lives lost in Iraq are the fault of the backward Arab culture that perpetrated 9/11.
The Iraqis that have been killed are collateral damage, with the moral responsibility for those deaths resting with Al-Qaeda. If they all die, it is of no consequence to the United states.
The American troops are another story, however. The ultimate responsibility for their deaths lies with themselves, as no one put guns to their heads and told them to enlist.
But, just as much as they are responsible for themselves, the Arab terrorists are responsible for the theater of war in which they are currently engaged, and thus are to blame for any American deaths.
So, America needs to avenge those deaths, just as it has to avenge the 3000 killed on 9/11, by killing as many Arab terrorists as possible.

there is one responsible for all innocent deaths in the world. The immortal enemy of God Almighty. That is - Satan. He is the father of lies, the source of all evil. All through history in the fight for justice and freedom, innocent people have died. My hope lies in my perfect heavenly Father who sees all and will one day judge all for every act ever committed. Bush, and a lot of Americans, believe that every human being has the right to be free. Not his fault.

There are parties that are much guiltier than the Bush's administration. As far as his administration is concerned, its main guilt is that it serves the special interests (oil companies). Instead of aggressively investing into alternative sources of energy it maintains the addiction to oil.

I don't agree with Bush being at fault. If the Irace people would look at what is going on in the world that is good, IE: telecommunication, water treatment, home improvements, etc... Then they, especially the youth, would jump at moving into the 21st century.
