I work at a hospital as a nurse, and the low dose aspirin dose is 81mg. If it is enteric coated, it may be taken at night. If it is not, it is recommended in our hospital to take it in the morning so that its not sitting in your stomach all night while you sleep.

The best time of day to take the aspirin (buffered prefered) is at night before going to bed. I know because I take it myself as suggested by my doctor.

Usually at night, just before going to bed.
