Best vacation for your buck?

What was the best vacation you have ever taken that didn't weigh down your wallet?...Mine? Pike's place market in Seattle. It was only a 3 hour drive and we had a blast. Clam chowder soup in a bread bowl and Underground city tour to top it off...the pictures still highlight my photo album...we had a blast!
