If a teacher hits you accidentally it is one thing but if it is done maliciously it is another. a report should be filed against a teacher who raised his hands against a student maliciously, this will eventually eradicate him from the teaching profession. So be careful what you are saying and judge the actions that occured objectively before saying anything, this kind of statement could cost this person his job and affect not only him but also his family.

Depends on where do you live and how hard he hit you. Probably some law is against it in US. But if he's not hitting hard or mean, just take it. It's not shame or anything. Just try to get some fun out of it. If you hit back, it's not a very good idea. Try to understand the hit first before you give it back.

No...do not hit him back...It is illegal for teachers to physically abuse students. You need to follow the chain of command in reporting this teacher. First I would seek out your guidance counselor. He or she should get the ball rolling. If this does not work request a conference between yourself, your parent(s) the guidance counselor and the principal of the school. Then I would contact the local law enforcement...if you get no where with the school.

First things first-if you are above 15,report him/her.You have no right to be physically beaten after a particular age is passed.Do not pysically hit him/her back-it doesn't make sense.If you are still in school(below 15) THINK whether you deserved the punishment.Many a times the fault lies within.Sometimes it is really better to be corrected in the childhood the hard way than to regret later in life.Not all teachers are bad.Most of them generally think for your good...that is my experience.
