This quote is not true, because it asks people to live in the past, and living in the past never gets much done. We as a living organism have natural quest for progress not regress. The only thing that is good about the past is where you are now and the failures of the past that you have learned from to progress to the current state that you are in. However, if you live in the past and never learn from your mistakes then you will never progress as a person. You are defeating the inherent nature programmed into your DNA.
