What is the best way to prevent and stop rape and molestation?

Also state ways society(USA or other parts of the world) can help prevent or stop child abuse, women sexual harassment(by men), and anything else you can think of.

Hide in the forest and disguise yourselves as hedges.

That way you'd never have to interact with anyone again.

OR

Leave all of the men on an Island and capture one or two of them for breeding proposes. That way you can be sure no one in a society built only of women and children will ever be abused again. Don't forget to ship the teenage boys to the island of men as to ensure male lust doesn't infect the society of women. Ahhh, it will be bliss in the society of women, it will be just like high school. All of the pretty girls will hang out together and all of the ugly one will be outcasts because the average looking girls will follow the pretty girls orders.

For the Island of men,

Beer and Burger will commence at 6 pm, followed by lots of sports and Xbox tourements at 8pm. The rest of the day we'll just putter around messing with stuff, growing food and brewing beer.

The best way to prevent rape is to never be alone. No woman (or man for that matter) "asks for it" by the way she dresses walks or talks.

Molestation is another story. You can't be with your children all the time. And unfortunately, there are many parents who molest their own children. However, teach your kids from very early on that there is absolutely nothing that they can't tell you. Molestation rarely starts with touching and it is usually a family member or a close friend of the family who is the abuser in these cases. Children must be taught that they will be believed and will not get in trouble if they tell anything that is going on that they don't like. Example: My Godson and I have a standing "date" for his birthday. When he was 4 he said that I was his girlfriend on our "date". He then said it was a secret. That scared me thinking that he might have a "secret" with another adult. I immediately had a serious talk with him on his level about secrets. We discussed the importance about telling secrets sometimes. He decided at the end of the chat we had that the only secrets he couldn't tell his mom or dad were ones about presents for them.

Child abuse is becoming more rampant the further our society gets away from the traditional family, Mom, Dad and kids. We have also taught our 15-year-olds that they should keep their babies when they are not mentally or emotionally prepared to properly deal with the stresses that come with children. What happened to adoption? What happened to the "shame"?

Now as for sexual harassment, the men who do this have little or no respect for women. Let's teach our boys and young men that women are to be respected. They are not tophies or conquests. If the boy does not respect his mother, the man will not respect any women.

It's more personal than legal...

The laws have already been created... people do it anyway.

The best defense is education. The more people know about their own psychology the less likely they will become perpetrators or victims.

Promoting higher esteem in women while protecting the dignity of their male counterparts will help as well.

I noticed that you wrote "by men" and that is not ALWAYS the case... you might be shocked to learn that there are a few women who are guilty of molestation as well.

The best way to stop rape and molestation is for society to stop breeding rapers and molestors! Nobody is born to be a raper or a molestor, they are created that way through society (getting picked on at school, parent neglect, etc.). Society can achieve this by treating everyone with respect and stop making fun of people, and parents need to do their jobs as parents!

Who knows, education maybe, strict punishments, offenders rehabilitated. There is a reason people do horrible things, could be they were abused as a child, hopeless under-confidence, lack of self-respect, internal hurt. We need to fix the root cause not the symptoms.

If people can't control themselves how is the government supposed to control them?

I don't see that the government can solve this. No one knows why we have so many pedophiles and rapists in this country.

Did you know that there are countries where there is almost no crime against children? So this is not a human problem, it is a U.S. problem.

Why do we have so many rapists and pedophiles? We have to know why before we could figure out how to solve it.
