ive herd of superstition about being scared of black cats but i have no problem with black cats, or any cat at that. the only thing that has "struck fear in my heart" is when im walking outside by my self and i see a gray cat just staring at me, i feel like something really really bad is going to happen when i see one and im paranoid for about a week. im sound of mind i promise, and im not goth or "emo" but i just feel like someone is going to die in the family or i remeber seeing one a week before 9/11 (let all that died that day rest in peace, God Bless America. We Will Never Forget). i wanted to know why this scares me so darn much, please answer me someone.... only serious answers, i dont want anyone telling me i need a strait jacket or need to be in the cuk house.

dont say anything about spelling please... i am sorry for it, no ones perfect

Superstition is catchy. Someone infected you. Talk this out with family and friends. Decide that it is no benefit but a detriment.
Toss it.

Normally when things like this occur it is becasue you have associated the cat with something bad happening ex; when you were 8 you come across a grey cat that stared at you and then someone close to you died a relative or pet that you were close too. you have to stop yourself from getting to worked up about it, sit down and look at all the times you have had a grey cat stare at you, and how many times someone has died within the week of you seeing the cat, I think you will find that it is not as bad as it seems and next time you see a grey cat just keep saying to yourself that everything is ok and keep repeating it,

Good Luck with this.

You know I use to have a problem with superstition, but as I got older I got over it, but still acknowledge it.....Let it go don't worry...read the bible starting with proverbs....it will give you wisdom.....

Sometimes animals sense things in people that tend to make them leary of them.....Maybe "Pet Sematary" isn't the movie for you to watch my friend.
