when i download songs from limewire, if i save them in a file in my music and i delete them from the limewire library i can no longer play them is there a way to keep them without keeping them in my limewire library?

.... when you download a song, do you right-click and hit "Explore?" If you do, that should open up a temp file for you, which has your downloaded music file. Copy/paste that into your My Music file or whatever you want, then delete the original one in the temp file. *shrugs* Works for me...

I can get what you feel but it seems like there are no other ways to get rid of them from your limewire library. It's in the program that automatically put them in the library after you have downloaded them. +.+

since the file it connected to your limewire library, you cant delete it from limewire without deleting it from your pc file

drop limewire and bearshare all together and get ares it has everything u need at a click u will not be dissapointed. trust me! u can also upload your own stuff just drag it in your folder close program open back up and then if its popular people will upload from you.

drop limewire and download bearshare. I have used both and Bearshare does not have any of the complications that I found with Limewire and it downloads just as fast.
