i'm gonna pass ya some... interesting information you might not know about TRON.

First of all the guy who created TRON wants to do a sequel TRON 2.0 and maybe (really hopes) a remake of the original.

When they were making TRON they faced several problems.

1. To make a lot of the graphics they did, they had to use computers that would not show the object (unlike today). They were not able to see most graphiocs (including the light cycles) till they were on film.

2. The entire movie was shot on a black background. ALl of the lights and sets were added later by computer (hince 1.)

3. At times you see a light flicker or run along a wall or something. Turns out this was not planned. When they were examining the film (before dispersing) they noticed these flashes. The problem was they couldnt easily remove em... so they had two choices (to this day no one is sure what caused the flashes). Use em in some way or refilm the whole movie and have waisted Millions.

They used em and thats why you see the occasional occurance.

Also two little bits of trivia.

In a scene where Zok is standing by the control board of the game area, you can see a Pacman in a corner. In fact there are the dots and the power ups in other parts of the board. Its in fact a twisted Pacman board if you look at it.

In a scene where their on the light traveler (the thing with the solar wings) they pass over a imprint of Mickey Mouse in the floor bellow them

Plot was creaky but the special effect were like WOW

And the light cycle sequence (when you are the light cycle) was stunning.

I hated that movie for some reason. Not sure if it was because of the effects or not. I should try watching it again.

Tron was very cool

Black Hole really sucked, though.
