OH MY HECK I NEED HELP FAST!!!
I had one documents open, by going to start, documents, and I had another documents folder open by going to my comp, user, documents... I was putting some folder on win zip and moving others around. Well I moved this one folder... and now I cannot find it anywhere. I MUST find it and find it before I can crash for the nite as I'm going away. See I was zipping my "personal, no one else can see" folders and emailing them to myself so I could then delete the files so no one could see. BUT... it's gone... the most naughty folder I have and I cannot risk anyone seeing it (and no they are not of me) Can anyone help????

If you're running Windows, go to START, and then SEARCH and type in the folder or file name, and Windows will look for the files and folders, if it gives you the option of also searching for "hidden" folders, do so. If not, then go to MY COMPUTER, click on TOOLS, then FOLDER OPTIONS, then VIEW and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS and click on APPLY. Also, if you can remember any picture name, enter than .jpg name in the search field. If you don't, enter *.jpg and it will pull up every picture in JPG format on your computer. When you see one of the "naughty" pics you mentioned, look at the directory, chances are the others are in the same directory.
Hope this helps.

If you remember what you called it, run a full search for it. Click Start->Search(usually lower right) Click All files and folders, then put the name into the file name box, and choose Look In: Hard Drives

Good Luck!

If you know the name of the folder or file, go to your computer's search mechanism and let it search your C drive. Then just follow the directory path that's provided.

have you tried doing a search for the pics/movies/etc and when the search turns up one of the items of interest, right click it, click properties and looking to the right of the word 'location'?
