I am assuming we are coming from the definition of immaturity which is... acting much younger than one's age.
In psychology, immature behavior generally means there are issues related to developmental trauma. It is often true that a person in thier 20's or 30's who act like a child, have not progressed developmentally from the stage in which they are acting.
I don't believe it is bad per se, just a source of information as to where that person is at. For example, if I were looking for a partner, someone who acts immature would not be my choice.

I would say, it depends in "what" way the person is immature. I am a working person who is responsible, on time, reasonable ect. However, when I'm walking down the isle of a super market, now and then I jump up and click my heels together & yell, "Yahoo!" Or I'll go to the park and suddenly I'll just get this desire to climb a tree, and there are children & other adults looking at me with an odd expression on their face. Does this make me "immature?" About a year ago I was in a fast food place and I dropped a dollar on the floor. When I bent over to pick it up, two women cut in front of me in line, and I told them about it, and they ignored me. So when I sat down to eat my burger & fries, I spotted the two women, and as inconspicuis as possible, threw a few fries at the back of their heads. Hmmm, that is a bit immature. Sometimes it's okay...sometimes it's not.

Not if it offends other people. Some people take up being immature as an excuse to get away with insulting, ridiculing, or humiliating other people.
Myself, I'm 28 and still feel like I'm 17. I don't act like it, but I still get a laugh from doing stupid **** that maybe only I find funny. Hey, it makes me laugh. I also keep telling people I'm going to find myself at 60 one day and I'll still be listening to the Sex Pistols. It brings a smile to my face, so why not?

Depends of your age. I agree with Leahanna4's answer. If you are over 18, Immaturity is VERY unactractive. It makes you seem Retarded.
Immature = not fully developed. An unformed character.
What's so cool about that? Do not confuse "immaturity" with innocense or good nature. You can be good natured and still show maturity.

A young person is expected to be immature, but then to gain maturity with age. Immaturity in an adult is not uncommon, nor is it bad, but one hopes it will be overcome in time.

It depends on the situation. When it is Halloween or Christmas, be as immature as you want.

Hey, I have to giggle at that one...sorry. It just depends on your age. Under 16..expected, over 18 it is expected that you show 'some' maturity, over 21???and immature??? Shameful. :)

It depends on how old you are. If you are 17 or older, I think it's about time to start being a man. This world needs more men. But sadly most never grow up.

I don't know. I am old enough to know better, but young enough not to care.
Everything has its time and place, even immaturity.
