i own a 94 cherokee country, with 280'000 k, and it has many years of life left in it. i've probably repaired it 3-4 times (all minor, under 100 dollar repairs). this is the most reliable vehicle i have ever own, not to mention seen. if you treat it right, change the oil regularly, it will ultimitely last you as long as you are willing to drive it. since it is a 4wd vehicle, parts such as u-joints will wear over time, it's inevitable. i love this vehicle, and will buy another one soon. typically speaking, many will go over 300 000 no problem, without any mechanical trouble worth noting. they are great on brakes too, i'm on my 3rd set (soon to be replaced) that's a lot of miles to a set, all of which had lots of life when i replced them (don't think i wore them to barely usable, lol). hope this helps

i own a repair shop, and some of my customers have these ,and i know of one with over 300 thousand on it,and i have done the work on it for the past 6 years,so its been well maintained ,but i know of others that have about that much mileage on them, and there still going real good as long as you drive it right and take care of it ,its really hard to say how long it will last, somewhere around 150-175 thousand miles you need to have the oil pan took off of it and have it cleaned out they get built up with old sludge and it makes them not want to pick up the oil real good other than that there real good vehicles ,and this is not a big job to do,good luck i hope this help,s.

I have a '98 with over 170000 on it and my girlfriends has a '95 with over 250000 miles on hers. Neither have had any major work done on them. We do both use synthetic oil that might help.

My 94 has 175,000 with no major maintenance problems. It still runs great, doesn't use any oil, and still has plenty of power.

Depends on how well you keep up maintenance and how well the previous owners took care of it.

It depends on how well you maintain it. If you service it regularly you can expect well over 100,000. Hope I have been helpful.
