there are world religions based on this idea. I have no idea since i am a firm believer in buddhism. If this is what you believe then hey I have no judgement but would you not want to be a hero in your fake world and make other peoples fake lives more enriched for having known you??

Well - Perhaps we are living in a Dream being Dreamed by someone else ...
Here are some Haiku I wrote on the subject -- perhaps your question will get a semblance of an answer from them -
HAIKU
By Deepak Menon
Dream Life :-
Yearn do I for life
Life eludes my lifeless being
Living in your dream

Longing To Burn :-
Longing to be free
One with the warmth of your dream
To burn in it’s fire

In Your Dreams :-
In your dreams I live
What shall it be like when you
Stop dreaming of me?

When You Awaken :-
When will I wake up
To find nothingness as your
Slumber leaves you

My Dream or Yours? :-
Is the dream I live
Yours? Or do you live in mine
I wonder? You know!

Dare I to Fly? :-
Can I dare to fly
Away from the warm confines
Of your dreaming heart?

Returning to your dream:-
Flying towards your dream
Entering it and finding
It ended then!

Have a great day ....

I've never real given it much thought... but I suppose that it could be. I'm not sure what the world is, but all I can do is stand strong to my beliefs and do the best I can.

I won't be on it for too much longer, right?
