I watch in it reruns all the time and it really impacts me. I think Maxine Gray is one of the greatest characters ever. I miss the show. Kind of addicted, just wondering if anyone else was out there?

The daughter was annoying.

Same here. I don't even know when it's on in prime time, but I'm fond of the reruns.

Someone mentioned that the daughter is annoying. If they mean Amy, I agree, but I kind of like that. She's far from perfect. She's actually pretty dependent.

In so many dramas, nothing changes for the characters. In "Judging Amy," things do happen to change their lives.

I agree about Maxine Gray, too. Great character.

Next to Law and Order I never missed it! I started watching it because I am from New England (upstate NY) and I live in the midwest now, and it gave me a "warm" feeling of being back in New England. The show takes place in Hartford CT which was only about 2 hours from where I lived. Fantastic show but I think Amy's character is too "stiff" sometimes. Unfortunately, I have had my cable shut off so I can't watch it anymore.

I love it, in fact I never liked Tyne Daily(sp?) until I started watching Judging Amy.

I love the fact that it shows a family that can fight and still love and be there for each other.

The fact that it does portray kids who get cause trouble seeing that yes, the will be punished is great.

It is good to see strong female characters in a TV show. Much like Providence.
