When your married forever...

Know you because when you love someone you can continue to do so after you feel like you have hated them. When you are infatuated and the glitter wears off (or rudely gets slapped off) thats it - you're done.
When you love someone and they hurt you, it hurts like no other hurt you have ever known. The infatuated? Eh, it's not so bad.

Would you be willing to die, I mean really take a bullet for the infatuated? Nope. When you love someone, you wouldn't have had to think of the answer to that question.

Infatuations are short lived and don't stand the test of time, love does

I think love might start out as infatuation. I don't think love is something that can be addressed in a short answer. If you still want to be with that person after knowing them for 8 months you might have more than an infatuation.

It's always infatuation in the beginning. If you stay together long enough for the excitement to die down, say a year, and you still feel affection for them, that's love. Remember just because you love someone doesn't mean it's safe to stay with them.

Only time can tell. Love should be able to sustain time and difficulties. Infatuation won't survive any difficulties.

You don't at 1st know. It takes time to find out if it's true love.
