Why don't you ask Lucifer or Baalzebub the next time you see them?
I would say that missing Heaven is a matter of missing "the point" and not missing "a point".
Entering Hell (as a permanent resident) is a matter of "making a point" while losing the argument.
So, to answer your question, winning an argument is never a reason for entering Hell/Hades/Den of Iniquity.
But, it depends on what your definition of "hell" is. The original concept of Hell stems from pagan views of Hades. Does Judaism offer a belief in eternal torturous Hell?
The idea of a separation from the physical body stems from gnosticism ideals that all physical and material elements are "evil" and the ideal state is sprititual enlightenment--a higher spiritual plane. It borders on the heretical notion of ascetism.

I think it is worth winning an argument to prevent someone else from believing that it is possible to spend an eternity in hell.

There is "no" argument when standing in judgement at the moment of a persons physical death. The line is forever drawn at that instant. Just the individual and God. "No argument". The only question that will be asked is "has the individual accepted Gods perfect gift" Jesus Christ as their Savior and there name recorded in the "Book of Life"? John 3:16. Revelation 20: 11-15 tells what happens to the individual who has not accepted Gods perfect gift of Redemption.

This reminds me of the question "Do you want to be right, or happy?" Same question, different words. Worth stopping to think about the next time you want to win an arguement. When I heard that question I had to really think about the answer for a couple of days!!

winning an argument you maybe happy,feel enthusiasted for a few days,maybe for the rest of your life of a few decades,but hell is eternity.few decades of joy in exchange for eternity in hell where the fire is burning for iternity,worms hanging around ur soul for eternity,the heat,the pain,the suffering..it is definitely not worth.

The only possible argument that I could think of that would send you to hell would be one that resulted ultimately in murder or suicide. In that case, (as Hell is a state of mind) it would be up to said individual to decide whether or not it was worth it.
Just what sort of argument is this? 0_o;;

I believe hell is on earth and if you can leave here a half decent person, you've done well. I suppose it depends on the argument and if the person wants to keep coming back!
