There are thousands of children who are locked up in so-called "boarding schools", boot camps, behavior modification programs, etc., where many are abused and neglected. Children have also died in these programs, as well as in mental health facilities. If you are interested in learning more, visit www.caica.org.

I completely agree. Boarding schools, especially places like the eastern boarding schools, are the equivalent of a mental institution blended with liability paranoia, hypocritical uptightness...deranged mentality, and public school bullying but to a worse extent than showers in prisons...

their "prestige" is nothing more than bastions of hypocricy and bullshit where the rich go through the back door, and those that seem different are 'outcasts'---its a very sick enviroment to the point that when these kids actually get out of these prisons they are highly dosed on medication and have a bond with fellow prisoners in college...there is even a site that proclaims that 'nobody from public school will ever know what we went through in prep-school'

I know because I know several people in my college who were totally ****** up, and ended up going to rehab and dropping out of college and most were from prep, school. Its very sad.

There are also unreported sororiety initiations that involve rape, sexual harassment and sadism as was told to me by my friend who later ended up taking lsd and now is homeless.. It is a very sick and twisted enviroment, and quite sad. I even heard they force parents to give students drugs, when they get "depressed", by forcing them to sign a contract so that they (the school) is free of liability from the parents....if the parents don't sign the contract, and do not force their child to take the drug, the school expells the child....the parents are faced with no choice...trying to get the best for their child's future...

I was told that this is where a lot of the "behaviour modifcation" comes in.... most of the depression is bogus, entirely erroneous, or actually caused by the "atmosphere" of the boarding school itself....the school actually wants to force the students into "behaviour modification programs" because the administrations at these schools have an image of a child that is uncorrupted....a very puritan mentality...and anything that deviates from the norm should be corrected....hence, the forced medications such as prozac, retilin and in some cases with severe after effects, psycho-pathic drugs.....and in most cases, the kids do not even need these...but rather serve to keep a "common student atmosphere on campus" where anything that deviates from this "image of a child" is looked down upon 1984 style, where harassment is encouraged to "straighten" the child, and so is the forced medication afterward, after the school reports "out of the norm" behaviour...by this the school means, that the kid is depressed by being harrassed and humiliated...and forces the kid to take medication so as to keep...as one kid told me---"his dead person inside him from dying on the outside"...in other words, the school encourages the harassment, the degredation and humiliation of the 'outcast'--or 'the rebel'...and then when the kid gets depressed, blames it on the kid, and forces the kid to take medication....by forcing the parent to sign a contract or expultion...its an image where no drinking or drugs, or anything is allowed...but on the contrary...what happens is that an ugly counter culture rises up and probably does many more times the drugs or anything relative to public school. Those that survive at these insitituns are apparently the hypocritical, ugly and sleazy kids...who would kill others for the amusement and fun of "the group"...as the kid described it to me....that most "outstanding individuals" in that society...are those that are best at being the characters of "cruel intentions" ---its a very frightning description...that movie sucked anyway.

why are the parents hushed? because apparently there is a non-disclousre form also, and you cannot sue later when they force medication on the students. The parent is faced with no option...being told the diploma will be witheld if a suit is underway...the schools also uses blackmail...the parents often told lies about their children being weird so that the school can undergoe their "behaviour modifcation programs"....to have the "outcast" conform to the norm..

all these eastern kids scared me, they were creepy and ****** up...I felt bad for them and the stories they told me. I don't think all of it is true, but if only part of it is, its really freiky..I am SURE AS HELL never sending my children to boarding school. It strikes me as that movie, what was it called? Disturbing behaviour....yea, its ****** up. I don't want to think about these characters because it just makes me sad.

I'm sure you heard about that african american boy who was at a military camp and he was having trouble doing the exercises because he had a certain blood disease, and you could see the Sargeants or whatever the hell they're called on video beating him up just because he was having trouble. HE HAD A DISEASE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! Give him a break. So he ended up dying because of those asssholes. He was only 16 too. Now his family is without a son and he will never experience life because of those bastards. Something has to be done about this.
