There are many international folkdances from many countries. I learned some from all over western and eastern Europe as well as many from Israel. That was years ago and I still love to dance those. They can be enjoyed in groupes of people and they are a lot of fun. The music alone is great too - from any country the music can be beautiful. There is still a lot I haven't heard so I can't speak for all of them.

I basically only listen to foreign music, especially Spanish and brazilian modern music. I buy a lot of Putumayo cds and learn of foreign artist from them. Their Brazalian Groove and World Groove are so much fun.
My favorite artist is Laura Pausini and Jarabe de Palo but she they aren't dance.

I'm hispanic so of course i love ALL spanish speaking music, i also love arabic music because it so sexy, and movable!!!
